We purchased the new awning to replace the same awning that was over 30 years old (wind damage)! We are completely satisfied with our purchase. It was very easy to install over our first floor kitchen window. It took one adult and 2 teenagers to do the job. They followed the excellent directions and had no problems at all. From start to finish it took about 35 minutes. The awning is awesome! Very stylish and easy to adjust up and down. We highly recommend this awning and also General Awnings. They are a great company to work with.

The awning arrived when expected with a delay for manufacturing. The instructions were clear. The house has brick so a small change had to be made to installation. I did complete install in an hour and half by myself. The self rolling spring is great for ease of up and down needs. I am very pleased with the product.

We love our awning and it really kept the summer heat out of our bedroom windows! Installation was a little more difficult than expected and some of the parts were not as strong as my husband felt would be necessary.... but with a few stronger parts (that we purchased locally) it was up and has been open all summer. We are solar users so the ability to block the sun from coming in is equally important. We would recommend this product.
