I performed the installation myself and found it to be very simple. The reason for installing the awning was twofold. First, we wanted to protect the door casing from the elements. Without such protection, you will experience a slow decay of the wood casing at the bottom of the door. Second, we needed a covering to keep us out of the rain when entering through this door of our home. Very happy with the product.

The awning looks great. My husband installed the awning in an afternoon, with of course a few choice words. It is important to remember to fill any holes made threw the outside of the house be filled with silicon to prevent any leaking. It is wonderful to look out the window with out the glare of the sun. and the kitchen is a whole lot cooler! I was very glad to find the website, the awning is both beautiful and functional.

The quality of these products are as advertised. Since installing the awnings we have weathered a hurricane with no damage what-so-ever. It took two days to install four awnings and the instructions stepped me through the entire process with no problems experienced. We had to remove an old maple tree the previous year which resulted with excessive glare and heat in the front of the house. These awnings completely eliminated these problems and I would highly recommend this product to anyone.
