Back in 2019, we ordered your PC1100 awning, as the 59" projection was wide enough to cover our egress stairway and the product is visually very appealing.

Living in a city that receives 46" of snow as an annual average, I was nervous about the awning's ability to handle the snowload. But, two years later, I am a happy customer indeed. The awning has had no problems whatsoever, and manages to even keep a significant amount of snow out of the open egress stairway (the inch or two that does drift in is easily removed). And indeed, the clear canopy it provides leaves the stairs a safe, pleasant place (I even someone sit there with a morning cup of coffee).

Our contractor installed the awning and (since we are also a land of strong thunderstorms and tornados) used the optional cables for additional security. No issues whatsoever with wind, and this is an awning that stretches a good 10 feet long.)
